Today we met Mrs. Bryant’s 3rd grade class from the Washington Street School in Brewer, Maine. They are the only state in the US to share a border with only one other state – New Hampshire. Their leading industries are lobsters and blueberries and their nickname is the Vacation State. We saw a picture of Acadia National Park which is located in Maine. They see moose and black bear in their wild and a famous person from their state is author, Stephen King. Their school has 300 students in grades 1,2 and 3 with 5 or 6 of each grade.
